DUI Overview
Driving Under the Influence of alcohol, drugs or a combination of both is illegal in every state. Essentially, the crime is federalized meaning there are very few differences regarding the elements of the crime and the methods the officers use to apprehend those people who are accused. Every year, legislatures across the country enhance the penalties and make it easier to gain convictions. It is my hope that we can discuss the similarities and the distinctions of individual cases in an effort to force fair enforcement and reasonalbe sanctions. While I never planned to be the voice of drunk drivers I always planned to be the voice of people who are not allowed to be heard. If you think DUI laws have gone too far please feel free to share.
